The Portland Hospital offers Platinum Choice members discounted maternity care when paid for by the employee. Companies can extend this offer to any employee or their spouse who wants the option of attending a private facility to have their baby, even if they are not a member of the company private medical insurance (PMI) scheme.

The discount applies to all hospital-based charges including accommodation, tests and scans, epidurals and drugs, midwife costs and antenatal checks. Consultants’ fees are charged separately and are not eligible for discount. Your employees can refer to published price lists for The Portland Hospital at the time of their consultation.

As each pregnancy is unique, it is not possible to guarantee a course of care at the outset of the pregnancy as it may be necessary to change a plan up until, and including, delivery. However, our very personalised care plan will ensure that patients are closely monitored and any changes can be discussed at each stage.
